From WICHITA, Kan. — An amateur photographer captured an image of something very unusual in the sky while taking pictures of wildlife back in February, according to KSN.

“Right over the city, clear as a bell,” photographer Jeff Templin told KSN. “Anyone that was looking up would have seen it. You don’t usually see military or even civilian aircraft’s jets that leave contrails making those kind of severe departures off of the given route.” Templin said the aircraft made several severe 180 degree turns in the sky in the shape of an “S.”

A big fan of airplanes, Templin said despite the craft being unidentified, he felt sure it was man made and not alien. KSN reached out to aviation experts but said none were able to positively identify the craft
